**Listened to the audio book, and read along to electronic copy**I bloody love Fearne Cotton, and this definitely one of the books I was most looking forward to reading in 2022。 I had preordered the audio book as soon as I was able。 I was excited to read a book about all of my favourite things, and all things spirituality。 I was excited to learn more! This book covered a great deal, but unfortunately it didn't go into much detail - this left me a little disappointed。 Cotton had interviewed some o **Listened to the audio book, and read along to electronic copy**I bloody love Fearne Cotton, and this definitely one of the books I was most looking forward to reading in 2022。 I had preordered the audio book as soon as I was able。 I was excited to read a book about all of my favourite things, and all things spirituality。 I was excited to learn more! This book covered a great deal, but unfortunately it didn't go into much detail - this left me a little disappointed。 Cotton had interviewed some of her favourite practitioners in each field - but these were people she has previously had on her 'Happy Place' podcast, so I felt a bit short changed。 I listen to the podcast, and love the podcast but I wasn't expecting half of this book to almost be a transcript of the podcast。 Overall I liked the book, and liked the content, but I was just left wanting more! I wanted Fearne Cotton to delve deeper。 I liked the way she incorporated her own personal experiences, but I just wish the book had more pages and could have told us more about each of the different methods。It was OK, I enjoyed it, but wanted more - so couldn't give this a higher star rating。 。。。more

I’ve read all of Fearne Cotton’s books and I think that this is probably my favourite。 The book is presented in an easy to read style while introducing us to things that are, truly, Bigger Than Us…… spirituality, faith, reiki, shamanism, mediumship, manifesting, and Enneagram numbers among other。 I found the book enlightening, thought provoking and beautiful。 Fearne has inspired me to live my life in a more thankful way, looking for the positives in life and focusing on love。 I have always been I’ve read all of Fearne Cotton’s books and I think that this is probably my favourite。 The book is presented in an easy to read style while introducing us to things that are, truly, Bigger Than Us…… spirituality, faith, reiki, shamanism, mediumship, manifesting, and Enneagram numbers among other。 I found the book enlightening, thought provoking and beautiful。 Fearne has inspired me to live my life in a more thankful way, looking for the positives in life and focusing on love。 I have always been drawn to alternate ways, but feel inspired to live a more spiritual, non religious, way。 It is refreshing to read that someone in the public eye suffers from the same self doubt and negativity that I have suffered from all of my life, however, from this day on, I vow to change my thinking and work towards a more peaceful life。 Thank you Fearne for writing such an inspirational book。 Right, I’m off to find out my Enneagram number! Highly recommended。 。。。more

‘This book’s purpose is to get us all looking at the concepts that are bigger than our own individual thoughts。’ - Fearne Cotton, Bigger Than UsI very quickly got the sense that this book is a real passion project for Fearne Cotton and it’s packed full of enthusiasm and the desire to learn more from those who she speaks to as part of ‘Bigger than Us。’ I went into reading this book with a completely open mind and many of the subjects in this book are not ones that I have delved deep into before。 ‘This book’s purpose is to get us all looking at the concepts that are bigger than our own individual thoughts。’ - Fearne Cotton, Bigger Than UsI very quickly got the sense that this book is a real passion project for Fearne Cotton and it’s packed full of enthusiasm and the desire to learn more from those who she speaks to as part of ‘Bigger than Us。’ I went into reading this book with a completely open mind and many of the subjects in this book are not ones that I have delved deep into before。 Fearne’s approach is to be inquisitive and gather more information for herself and the reader。I found myself being much more intrigued about things like Enneagrams (which I hadn’t heard of before and have since explored further) and signs。 I haven’t read ‘The Secret’ but the author is interviewed and so fans of Rhonda Byrne will no doubt enjoy their discussion。Most of all for me I just really enjoying curling up and reading a few pages each evening。 I believe the beauty of this book is that you can cherry pick what interests you and decide whether you want to explore further。 I found it a really interesting read created with pure enthusiasm for the subject。 Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC。 。。。more

People of today are addled with stresses, anxieties, hustle culture and relentless social media。 Finding pockets of peace and calm in such a busy world is so difficult, never mind finding time to connect to yourself and listen to what your mind has been trying to tell you。 I know for me, if I don’t feel like I’m being productive, I feel stressed。 I thrive on achievement but is that what I really need? This book will help you gently analyse yourself and your thoughts through Fearnes words as she a People of today are addled with stresses, anxieties, hustle culture and relentless social media。 Finding pockets of peace and calm in such a busy world is so difficult, never mind finding time to connect to yourself and listen to what your mind has been trying to tell you。 I know for me, if I don’t feel like I’m being productive, I feel stressed。 I thrive on achievement but is that what I really need? This book will help you gently analyse yourself and your thoughts through Fearnes words as she analyses her own life and experiences。 It was so lovely to read Fearnes thoughts and stories, her journeys to meditation and trying to find time for herself within such busy and turbulent times。 I definitely found myself in her words and truly understood and empathised with a lot。Understanding your emotions, what you need and learning to live in the present are such fundamentals。 They’re so important and this book again, delivered on this front。 Fearne also talks to a bunch of fab people all in their respective fields and I loved reading her interviews with them。 Whether you believe in the supernatural or not, are avidly against it or a true believer, this book is still for everyone。 As a scientist, I did struggle with some aspects as I am a super critical and empirical evidence based person so it can be hard to get out of my own head at times。 My own fault entirely! This was such a soothing read and one that I really enjoyed cosying up in bed and reading。 It felt so validating and real, and was really enlightening。 A definite recommend if you find yourself needing to find you again and learn to make space for yourself。 A true gem of a book!Thank you to the author and publishers via NetGalley for this book in return for my honest thoughts and review。 。。。more
